It's been almost two months since the last update, but I think it's well worth the wait. Now you'll get to see it all coming together and what it's supposed to look like, minus the vegetation (still trying to figure out a great way to do this) and paint.
As always, if you have any questions, advice, better ideas, or comments, feel free to shoot them my way!
Pipes were such a huge success, I decided to do some pipe scatter terrain.
The rest of the pipe scatter. I'm not really sure what to do with the pieces standing up, but they will suffice for now.
Another tree, with the assistance of my helper (just kidding, she didn't help at all)
The frame of the objective room (after a re-supply of sprues, thanks to the Gateway Infinity Players!)
Even has a detachable roof!
Painting while I watch random movies on Netflix.
P.S. I can always use more Netflix suggestions.
Still not too sure about these swampy/pond bases on the trees.
Walling Up the Shanties
"Get out of here Stalker!"
"Oh, okay, sorry. I was leaving anyway"
Surprisingly, the edges weren't sharp enough to actually wound. I did a series of tests to see if they would cut or puncture and they never did.
I got lucky enough to nab myself a one of these beauts before they sold out and they are definitely worth it! Make sure you get one the next time they're up for sale, I promise you won't regret it. Here's the random stuff I've made out of it so far (I honestly have no clue what my plans are for most of it, so we'll just see what I cook up as I go along):
Shout out to the Dark Souls board-game for all of the cardboard sprue that I used for the railing.
Insulation Foam Rocks
You might notice a few things I haven't detailed yet, in this picture. Don't worry, we'll get to them in part 3 (which is already in the works).
